Reef safe Sunblock
We really try to avoid sunblocks that aren't safe for ocean water. If it's not safe for the reef, then it can't be safe for my kids. And for the last several years, we've been using Raw Elements, which I buy from Fillgood.co. Recently I discovered that Resourcefill in downtown Lafayette carries a reef safe sunblock that is cheaper, easier to apply, and can be refilled in a store-provided aluminum bottle with pump (or also in a silicone squeeze tube).

I admit, I used to think Neutrogena was the best sunblock around partly because they always had insanely high SPF numbers. But then I looked it up on EWG.org and decided to switch.
